Hi, I am Dr. Annem Wallace. I graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Indian University in the year 2009. After working in India for 2 years as a dentist, I moved to Vancouver, BC. I decided to pursue dentistry in Canada and graduated from UBC Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine in the year 2014. I have been practicing as a dentist... in Canada since then. Additionally, I completed internships in Oral Surgery from UNC Adams School of Dentistry and NYU College of Dentistry. These internships provided me with advanced training in dentistry, including oral surgery, anesthesia, and treatment of medically compromised patients. I am a member of BCDA, BCCOHP, and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.
I am committed to learning and excellence. I spend a lot of my time traveling to participate in continuing education courses and study clubs to keep myself up to date with the latest advances in Dentistry and constantly upgrade my knowledge and skills. I feel it is the best way to ensure that I am providing the best care available to all my patients. I am an active member of Spear Education, which is an evidence-based teaching center with the latest advances in esthetics, implants, and restorative dentistry.
I have completed an orthodontic residency with Rondeau Seminars. The latest research and advances in Orthodontics are incorporated into their teaching model. I have successfully completed advanced-level implant dentistry courses with CEJ Academy and Bites Institute. I am well-trained and experienced in Digital Smile Design for worn dentition treatment. To deliver the best dental treatment, I use the latest technology from Dentsply Sirona, which is one of the best and most advanced dental technology companies in the world. I really enjoy being a dentist and love to be deeply involved with patients to understand their needs. I provide multidisciplinary treatment options to provide the best results.
I love hiking around the North Shore. In my free time, I like to go for bike rides with my husband and 2-year-old son. My family and I really enjoy sailing and watersports. Our little one keeps us busy as well and is full of energy.
Dr. Ray Kang received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of British Columbia in 2010. Upon graduation, she worked in the interior BC for four years before returning home in Burnaby. She continues to expand her experiences and skills in various aspects of dentistry, including full mouth restorations, endodontics ...(root canal treatment), orthodontics, implantology and surgery. She is a certified Invisalign provider,and has completed externship and training programs from the Pacific Implant Institute, Perio Institute, and Dental Development Seminars. She also has a heart for going on medical mission trips, providing dental treatment and education for communities that have little to no access to care. Dr. Kang's mission as a dentist is not to “do dentistry”, but to provide “care”. She wholeheartedly believes that this encompasses caring for the patient in all aspects of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health, as well as caring for each of the team members which makes such patient care possible and effective. She is committed to helping one achieve an improvement of not only their oral health, but also their overall quality of life, through an emphasis on prevention of disease and a conservative and holistic management approach. Her dedication to excellence in patient care and communication, along with her gentle but thorough manner, will help make your dental experience a positive one. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kang has passion for music and plays the violin in a number of symphony orchestras and chamber groups. She also loves working out at the gym, playing badminton, dancing, and hiking. She will often find herself busier when she is off work staying active!
Born and raised in Iran. Sepideh is a 2018 graduate from the Douglas College Assistant Program. She loves working with children and assisting with oral surgery, and reports that she has had an interest in the dental field since she was very young. In her free time, Sepideh loves going to beaches and getting outdoors to explore Vancouver. She loves... being active and has a passion for Volleyball. Sepideh's other passion is serving the community in other aspects by doing voluntary works. We are appreciative of Sepideh's calm and compassionate nature.
Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Stephanie graduated in 2010 from MTI community college Dental assistant program. Stephanie enjoys all aspects of dentistry but especially enjoys oral surgery. In her free time Stephanie loves spending time with her family. When she is not busy with her two young... children she enjoys trying new hobbies and listening to audiobooks.
